THE PUMPKIN CARRIAGE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE “TEENAGE FAIRYTALE DROPOUTS” PREMIERES ON 7TWO IN MAYPlease Note New Broadcast Details for “Teenage Fairytale Dropouts” –Now Premieres Wednesday May 8, 2013 at 7.00am on 7TWO

The pumpkin carriage ride of your life “Teenage Fairytale Dropouts” from Australia’s SLR Productions premieres on 7TWO at 7.00am from Wednesday May 8, 2013. Airing weekdays, the series will be broadcast until Tuesday June 11, 2013.

The high-definition flash-animated series tells the story of Jeremiah, Fury and Trafalgar, three best friends and second generation fairytale characters who are determined to be themselves, – no matter what their well-known fairytale parents think about it.

Jeremiah may be the son of The Giant from Jack and the Beanstalk but that doesn’t mean he’s going to follow in his father’s enormous footsteps, stomping villages and eating people. Besides, he still has some growing up to do, literally. Jeremiah may be a tween but he’s still waiting for his “giant” growth spurt.

And Fury may be the daughter of the Tooth Fairy but dental remuneration is not in her future — “way too creepy”. Plus, there’s the embarrassing fact that her fairy wings haven’t…ah… sprouted yet. Then there’s Trafalgar, one of Merlin’s many nephews, who actually has potential — if he just didn’t lack so much focus in his hocus pocus.

Together this trio is out to prove that even in the wacky, up-side-down, unexpected world of Fairytale Estates - you can be your own giant, fairy or wizard - as long as you have your friends along for the “souped-up” pumpkin carriage ride of your life.

The series is a co-production between Anima Estudios, SLR Productions, Home Plate Entertainment and Telegael.

Australia’s premium beaches have for the first time been catalogued in a stunning book, 101 Best Australian Beaches. Authors Professor Andrew Short OAM and Brad Farmer visited each of Australia’s 11,761 beaches to produce a thoroughly researched and scientific compilation of Australian beaches.

Professor Short, a marine scientist and Brad Farmer, a beach enthusiast and coastal preservation spokesperson considered all the factors that make a beach exceptional, from the views, sand and surf to bordering headlines, geological features and supporting amenities.

The research and development of the list was supported by Tourism Australia, who sees the recognition of Australia’s best beaches on the global stage as a major tourism draw card.

Catalogued in alphabetical order the beaches are also listed by state and by features such as camping, fishing, historic value, nature, shells, shipwrecks, sunsets, surf, urban locality and walks, together with a map of Australia locating all 101.

Each author has included their top ten personal favourite beaches, those with a sentimental significance, although they were unable to come to an agreement on the top ten best beaches in Australia.

101 Best Australian Beaches, released on Friday November 2 has a RRP of $39.99 and are distributed through all major retailers. Visit http://101bestbeaches.com/  for more information.
