Parenting

It is said that it is much easier to give birth to a child than to bring up that child.

Parenthood is a learning process. We learn from our own experiences, from the experiences and tales of others, and from books and workshops. We are all hoping that while we bring up healthy and happy children, we can maintain a loving and close relationship with them, even when they grow up.

Parenting is a challenge. From the time when children were babies to the time of adulthood, we constantly learn to deal with children’s mental and physical growth and ever changing circumstances. We also have to challenge our children, their mistakes, their motivation and attitude in order to direct them being on the right track.

In this section, there are many useful links, articles and resources relating to the everyday parenting life, which hopefully will help you and support you in bringing up well-balanced and happy children. The information will be constantly updated.

If you come across any good online parenting information, please email feedback@ourkidz.com.au, so that we can share it among Ourkidz audience, the parents and carers, just like yourself.
